Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ViralWatch (“ViralWatch”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of viralwatch.io (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

ViralWatch monitors publicly available short-form content from competitor accounts you choose, highlights posts that outperform their own baseline, explains likely reasons they worked, and generates original drafts (hooks, scripts, captions, ideas) for you to adapt.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.

Acceptable use

• Only track publicly available accounts and content. Do not use the Service to access private, restricted, or unlawfully obtained data.
• Do not use the Service to harass, impersonate, infringe intellectual property, or violate any platform’s terms or applicable law.
• Do not resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
• AI-generated output is a starting point for original content you create — not a license to copy anyone’s work.

Your content

You retain ownership of the creator context you enter and the briefs and drafts you generate. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for how you use generated output.

Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in USD through Stripe. Purchasing starts paid access immediately.
• A free trial, where offered, lasts 7 days or until included allowances are used, whichever comes first.
• Plans include monthly allowances (workspaces, competitors, AI actions, scrape credits) that reset each billing period and do not roll over.
• By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

Refunds & cancellation

• You can cancel anytime from your account. Your plan stays active through the end of the paid period; access then ends.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods or unused allowances.
• Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.

AI disclaimer

Analyses and generated content are produced by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Explanations of why a post performed are possible factors, not proven causes. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any output before you use it.

Third-party platforms

The Service references content from third-party platforms we do not control. Their availability, data, and terms are outside our responsibility.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results (including audience growth or views) will be achieved.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViralWatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes relating to the Service will be handled in accordance with the laws applicable to ViralWatch’s principal place of business.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
